Agentic commerce,
in plain English.

Commerce where an AI agent, not a person on a search page, discovers, compares and buys on the shopper's behalf. The agent is the new buyer. It shortlists from structured product context rather than reading product pages, and it can complete the order itself.

A sale that happens between two agents: the shopper's assistant asking, and the brand's agent answering with context, price and stock. No landing page in between. Nile's rails are built for this exchange.

The assistant a shopper asks for a recommendation: ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Meta AI, Siri and the personal agents shoppers run for themselves. Each reads a different protocol, and each can now check out.

Your side of the conversation. A brand agent answers shopper and agent questions in your voice, within your guardrails, inside assistants. In Nile it is compiled from the same context cards as everything else.

One structured record per product: who it is for, when to recommend it, why it fits, the claims an agent may make and the ones it may not, plus live price and stock. Nile compiles the card to every rail. Change it once and every rail is rebuilt.

The checkout rail behind Instant Checkout in ChatGPT, published as an open standard by OpenAI with Stripe. A product feed plus a delegated-payment spec, so the agent completes the order while the merchant stays the seller of record.

Google's open standard for agent-led shopping across Search, AI Mode and Gemini. It describes catalog, buying intents and checkout capabilities that any agent or retailer can adopt.

The universal connector between AI models and tools. Nile publishes an MCP server for your brand, so any MCP client can search, compare and recommend your products, and an MCP App that renders them inside the conversation.

Packaged instructions an agent loads on demand, introduced by Anthropic. Your brand's skill tells an agent how to recommend, compare and hand off to checkout, in your voice and within your rules. Portable across agents.

Paying only when a sale completes, as a percentage of the order. Nile charges CPS only on completed, attributed sales — you only pay after a sale. ROI guaranteed. No setup fee, retainer, ad spend or per-seat charge.

The business legally selling the product and taking payment. With Nile the brand stays merchant of record: checkout happens on your store, so the order, the customer and the data remain yours.

Shaping content so answer engines cite your pages. Useful for being mentioned. It does not give an agent the structured context it needs to recommend a specific product, and it stops at the click.

Tying a completed order back to the agent, the query and the intent that produced it. Nile attributes at order level and shows it in your dashboard, alongside rank tracking across query sets and key claims.

The agent completing the purchase inside the conversation, with payment delegated and the order fulfilled by the merchant. ACP and UCP both specify it. Nile keeps that checkout on your store.
